These Veloci-Docs innovations were designed specifically with the document review professional in mind:

• Unified Workspace

Users can view all documents at the same time and in the same place. The Unified Workspace allows you to import ALL of your records into a SINGLE dedicated workspace.

No more opening and closing dozens or even hundreds of documents. All those clicks waste time!!

Here’s how much time those extra clicks take:
- Assume 5 seconds/click or 10 seconds/pdf. You do click 1x to open the doc and 1x to close the doc, right?
- 10 seconds/pdf x 100 pdf docs to review = 1000 seconds or 16 minutes, 40 seconds …

• Proprietary Data Tagging System

Users can now label, sort and annotate records electronically into certain groups for closer review. This is like your current system of stacking records into certain piles or moving records to certain folders. But we do it faster! Capture key treatment events with speedy point and click ease with the granular menu system.

Veloci-Docs does this with just a few clicks. Point, click, and label. That’s it! Group records and data by provider, bills, prescriptions, surgeries, compensable claims, and so much more!

• Powerful OCR Engine

Veloci-Docs uses the Tesseract optical character recognition (OCR) software. Why is that important? The Tesseract engine is rated at 96% effective at reading, understanding, and incorporating text in its results. It’s as good as it gets! For the 4% error rate, users can double check their work using the Veloci-Docs Hidden & Duplicates filter. The OCR conversion is hands-off and requires no extra steps for the user - simply add records to your Unified Workspace and they are processed automatically.

Another key feature of our OCR engine is that you are NOT LOCKED OUT of the document while OCR is processing - you can begin your page review immediately! And with OCR processing speeds estimated at 900 - 1300 pages per hour (depending on hardware and system load), it is sure to stay well ahead of your page review.  

• Points of Interest System 

During the automatic OCR conversion, Veloci-Docs also automatically locates key terms important for the medical document review world. Users can modify this list to customize Veloci-Docs specifically for their search needs. Those important terms then appear in yellow highlights to catch the reader’s eyes. The Points of Interest system allows users to quickly find that needle in the haystack of documents.

• Automatic Blank Page and Duplicate Page Detection

Veloci-Docs finds and hides all the blank and duplicate pages for you! Drastically reduce the amount of pages you need to review almost instantly- a huge time and money saving feature.

• Automated Chronological Record Sorting

Veloci-Docs empowers users to create their medical chronologies simply and easily! Our Provider tagging system automatically sorts and timelines your records as you indentify them. Just click, type, click, and voila! There’s your medical timeline. Just like that.

Veloci-Docs is locally installed software, not cloud based. It makes a big difference for those who hate waiting for online pages to render into readable text. Cloud-based page rendering can waste a huge amount of time!
- Assume it takes 5 seconds/page for a page to fully render and appear legible when loading from the cloud.

Veloci-Docs also offers custom reports! Users can ask Veloci-Docs (for a nominal fee) to build a report that will autopopulate their own template, saving users even more time! This is in addition to the 2 custom reports Veloci-Docs provides at no additional charge.

Veloci-Docs comes preloaded with all these codes. That’s almost 80,000 medical codes at your fingertips!! No more trying to remember the codes or consulting outside reference guides to look up a code. It’s right there in front of you! Our medical codes may be searched either by code or body part/condition.
 • Veloci-Docs is SMART!!
How smart? Veloci-Docs uses smart type ahead search functionality. Users can begin typing and it anticipates what will be typed based on data previously entered by that user. In other words, it remembers the medical providers previously entered by the user. This means users (like you) only have to enter medical providers 1x and 1x only!
